Chocolate and bananas are a classic dessert combination. Individually, they are both delicious, so, naturally, it will taste amazing once combined. Well, if you're looking for a new way to spice up your dessert, here's one for you.
You might think these are regular chocolate cupcakes, but they aren't. These cupcakes are packed with ripe bananas which makes them flavorful. I know that is not a usual technique to do with chocolate cupcakes, but trust me, these are amazing. Then, they are made even better with a delicious hazelnut buttercream frosting. Finally, top with flecks of chocolate and banana slices. Make sure to only add the banana slices when ready to serve, otherwise, they'll turn brown!
Now, remember to use ripe bananas for these, otherwise, the cupcakes won't taste good. It's a must to use ripe bananas because that's when the sweetness comes out. If you don't have ripe bananas on hand, you can ripen them in a microwave for about 30 seconds.
