They're as delicious as banana bread and in a true dessert form.

I'm sure you've tried a lot of banana cupcake recipe, but you've not tried the best yet. These banana cupcakes are moist, tender and have a nice tight crumb. They're definitely much sweeter than banana bread. Then, they are made even better with a delicious cream cheese frosting. Of course, you can also use buttercream frosting, but I feel like the tangy cheese goes very well with the sweet banana cupcake. Finally, you can top these with sprinkles of cinnamon sugar or dried banana pieces.

The key to a delicious banana cupcake is the ripe bananas. It's important for the bananas to be really ripe, otherwise, you won't get a delicious cupcake. Additionally, if you don't have ripe bananas available, what you can do is to put the unpeeled bananas on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350° F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the bananas are completely blackened. Let them cool, scoop the banana from the peel, and mash for banana cupcakes.
