I'm not much of a coffee drinker and the closest I get to coffee are coffee cakes. They are my absolute favorite, which is why I got so excited when I came across this recipe for a cupcake version of my favorite cake!
These cupcakes give you a delicious combination of coffee and chocolate. Instead of milk chocolate, this recipe used dark chocolate, which is less sweet and more on the bitter side. Dark chocolate is paired perfectly with the coffee since it compliments each other. These cupcakes are made even better with a coffee frosting, which in my opinion, taste like coffee ice cream! Finally, you can decorate each cupcake with chocolate covered espresso beans!
