These Mexican hot chocolate cupcakes are to die for! Start with dark chocolate cupcakes as the base. These cupcakes are moist, soft, and tender. Then, they are topped with a vanilla whipped cream. Now, if you're wondering where is the spiciness in this recipe, it's both in the cupcakes and the frosting! They are both spiced with hints of cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Finally, top with chocolate shavings for garnish!
Additionally, if you can find some mini marshmallows, you can also use that as a topping along with the chocolate shavings!
