I'm sure we all have peppermint barks all ready for breakfast. I make this every year and give out to friends and family as an edible gift. Of course, I was planning to make it again for the holiday this year, but thought peppermint bark cupcakes would be delicious!
These cupcakes are going to be your favorite holiday treat from now on! Using a devil's food cake mix, start by making the chocolate cupcakes as the base. They are soft and moist, just like a cupcake made from scratch. The peppermint bark part is in the frosting of these cupcakes. They are topped with a peppermint white chocolate chunk buttercream frosting that tastes exactly like peppermint bark. Finally, garnish with crushed candy canes and you're ready to serve!
Since the frosting is dipped in white chocolate, it will set a bit, so you will need a fork when you eat these! These cupcakes will be a hit at your next Christmas party!
