I'm not a coffee lover but I go crazy over these espresso chocolate cupcakes. I found this recipe weeks ago and baked this for my friends and when I had a bite, I fell in love! Which is why I wanted to share this recipe for all of you!
These cupcakes have the perfect balance of both the espresso and chocolate. They are moist, soft, and a bit crumbly. I would add mini chocolate chips in the batter, but even without it would be fine. Then, they are made even better with an espresso buttercream frosting. As for the garnish, you can decorate them however you like. But if you can find chocolate-covered espresso beans, they would make the perfect topping for these cupcakes as well!
