Aren't these carrot patch cupcakes the cutest you've ever seen today? They're perfect for Easter and kids will definitely go crazy for them! So, if you're looking for the perfect Easter treat, read through this recipe now!
The thing I love about this recipe is that there are carrots on these without adding an actual carrot to the recipe! Isn't that fun? These carrot patch cupcakes start off with chocolate cupcakes as the base. You can use a scratch recipe or a boxed cake mix if you'd like. Then, they are topped with an Oreo buttercream frosting covered with crushed Oreo! Finally, top with a “carrot” to complete the look!
The “carrot” part is really tricky. They aren't actually carrots, but chocolate covered strawberries! Isn't that so convenient? Since it uses fresh strawberries, and as we all know, they tend to get a little soggy as time pass, so make sure to not make them ahead of time just to keep the freshness of it!
