Everybody loves filling in their cupcakes. Cream-filled cupcakes are much better than simple cupcakes. It adds more to the cupcake, and let's be honest, you can never say no to them.
The cupcakes are moist and you can taste cocoa in every bite. They are filled and topped with a dark chocolate frosting. The frosting has an intense chocolate flavor and brings out the flavor of the cupcakes. One tip when making chocolate cupcakes: always add coffee to the batter to amplify some of the bitter notes in the cocoa powder. Also, coffee brings out the chocolate flavor more.
This recipe uses a cone method to fill the cupcakes. This method might take slightly longer, so if you're not patient enough to do this, use an apple corer to make a hole in the cupcakes!
