I’m sure you’ve tried baking a snickerdoodle cupcake, but did you know that you could take this recipe to the next level?
I am talking about the cinnamon sugar layers in these cupcakes! These cupcakes are made with layers of cupcake batter, cinnamon sugar, more cupcake batter and more cinnamon sugar. These layers add much more cinnamon flavor in these cupcakes!
These cupcakes are topped with two kinds of frosting, a regular vanilla frosting and a cinnamon frosting. These two different frostings make a two-toned frosting, which makes it taste much better! You can frost the two frostings however you’d like to top the cupcakes or just use either all vanilla or all cinnamon frosting. It’s all up to you!
But, don’t forget to decorate these cupcakes! You can bake mini snickerdoodle cookies and add them on top of each cupcake or add anything that pairs with cinnamon!
