One of my favorite things about baking is piping and frosting cupcakes! I am not very good at decorating, so I always depend on different piping tips I can use to make beautiful cupcakes.
There are plenty of piping tips to choose from. But here are five which I think are a must have for a baker! These are the Wilton 1M, Wilton 8B, Ateco 849, Wilton 12 small round, and Ateco 808 large round. That's it! That's all you need if you want to decorate your cupcakes! Once you've piped the frosting, you can also add some sprinkles or any toppers!
Also, there are some additional techniques I can give to you when it comes to piping and frosting cupcakes. In filling a piping bag, using a tall cup really helps! And when piping the frosting, make sure to hold or seal the end of the bag so the frosting won't fall out once you press.
