I am a chocolate-peanut butter lover. I am obsessed with this combination that I can eat Reese's peanut butter cups all day long. Well, not all day long because that's unhealthy, but you get the picture.
So, if you're like me, these cupcakes are going to be your holy grail. These are actually mini cupcakes so they're definitely perfect for parties. You can start off by baking the mini chocolate cupcakes. You can use your favorite chocolate cupcake recipe for this. Then, top each cupcake with a delicious and smooth peanut butter frosting and Reese's peanut butter cup pieces. These cupcakes are going to be everyone's favorite!
I like cupcakes with filling, so I would fill these cupcakes with a delicious peanut butter ganache. To do this, you will need cream, white chocolate, and peanut butter. First, bring cream almost to a simmer in a small saucepan, then remove from the heat. Break the white chocolate into small chunks and add to the cream. Allow the chocolate to melt for 5 minutes without stirring it. Once the chocolates are completely melted, add in the peanut butter and mix again. Finally, allow this to cool completely to thicken before using as a filling into your cupcakes.
